Nodes

A node is a relay server running FF1 Core. Every forward lands on a node, so enroll your nodes first.

Two options:

  • One-click SSH install: Enter the node’s IP, SSH port, and credentials, and the Master installs and registers FF1 Core automatically. See Install FF1 Core.
  • Manual install: Run the install script on the node and fill in the Master address and enrollment token.

A node needs no public IP; it only has to be able to reach the Master.

ColumnDescription
Online statusFF1 Core heartbeat; offline nodes are flagged red in real time
ResourcesCPU / memory / load
Live throughputUpload/download rates, pushed over WebSocket without polling
ForwardsNumber of active forward rules on the node

The number of registered nodes is capped by the license servers_cont. Once the limit is reached, adding new nodes is blocked; upgrade your plan or release a node. See Plans.
